MAKE A GOOD CHOICE FOR THE ENVIRONMENT
We have stopped cleaning rooms unnecessarily, a sustainability initiative to help you make a good choice for the environment. You can easily opt out of daily cleaning by hanging the sign ”Do not disturb” on your door handle.

CHANGE OF TOWELS
To replace towels leave them on the floor in the bathroom. Think about the environment and do not change if not necessary!

LAUNDRY
If you need to wash clothes you will find laundry bags in your room. Do not forget to fill out the laundry tag and leave it inside the bag. Bring the bag to the front desk. The clean laundry will be delivered to your room when ready. Please note that there is an additional charge for laundry that will be added to your room.

IRONING
If you need to iron please contact the front desk. Please note that there is an additional charge for ironing. You can also iron clothes yourself, in the new part of the hotel on the ground floor to your left you will find an ironing board and iron.

GROCERY STORE (TEMPO)
Closest grocery store is located in Vidsel about 6 km from the hotel, there you can also buy some pharmaceutical goods:

PARKING, GARAGE AND ELECTRIC CARS
The parking lot outside the hotel is free to use and also has a limited number of engine heating stations available free of charge. Access to a garage is not available. Charging posts for electric car are available and used at an additional cost, please contact the front desk.

STORFORSEN NATURE RESERVE
Here you can experience the strong untamed power of one of our few pristine northern great rivers. We strongly recommend that you walk over the bridge and up alongside the rapids! Maps are available at the front desk.
Storforsen is located in the Piteå River which flows from Sulitelma in Norway and ends in Piteå havsbad. The river-stretch is five kilometers long and has a total drop of 82 meters. The last two kilometers the river drops 60 meters! Storforsen is biggest around midsummer when about 870 m3 water flows by per second! The area around Storforsen is a nature reserve and we therefore ask you to respect the rules that apply to the area.

STORFORSEN NATURE TRAILS
Since October 2021, you can now visit Storforsen Nature Trails! A trail system for mountainbiking, trailrunning and hiking between Storforsen and Brudforsen, along the Piteälven river. Open to anyone who wants to come and enjoy the paths, the heathland and the noise of the rapids. Maps are available on Trailforks and also at the front desk.

STORFORSEN PADEL
Now you can enjoy a nice padel session with friends, family or colleagues! Our new modern padel facility is within walking distance from the hotel with the possibility to rent and buy the neccesary equipment. Make a reservation here or at the front desk.

Pick up our bucketlist at the hotel entrance. Tick off experiences one by one and bring a nice memory back home after your visit in Storforsen.

Storforsen is a great option for weddings year round. Fabulous and magical with it’s natural beauty no matter what season. Our special chapel with it’s unbeatable view also has the most beautiful of altarpieces – a wonderful option for a memorable day!
